Louise Pope

Senior Environmental Modeller and Risk Assessor

I have worked for nearly a decade in environmental risk assessment and have acquired expertise across a range of regulatory disciplines, including plant protection products, biocides, pharmaceuticals and veterinary medicines. This work involves exposure assessments employing a range of environmental fate models (from first-tier focus models to higher-tier approaches) and assessments of potential effects on the receiving environment (ecotoxicology). One of my areas of expertise is in the more challenging risk assessments that may require refinement using suitable higher-tier approaches. I also have a particular interest in assessing substances for potential endocrine disruption.
