Neil Graham, PhD
Environmental Modeller and Risk Assessor
I joined the Enviresearch team in October of 2018 bringing with me my expertise in the transport, dynamics, and fate of contaminants in aquatic and terrestrial environments. My primary role will be to focus on understanding the behaviour of plant protection products in the aquatic and terrestrial environments, in line with EU and national guidelines.
My background is based in chemistry and environmental sciences with research experience spanning the likes of modelling the fate and dynamics of contaminants in coastal aquatic ecosystems and studying the effects of various socio-political and environmental factors on the fate of nutrients using a hydrological catchment modelling and GIS.
I have over ten years of experience which has afforded me a strong capacity in leadership and delivering excellent and quality science. This time has also paved the way for me to serve as technical expert and advisor for the planning and execution of collaborative and interdisciplinary projects while liaising in multidisciplinary and multicultural settings, at an international level, with stakeholders in government, academia and industry.
