GB PPP Regulation – Active Substance Approval and Renewal Dates
All active substances approved in the EU under Regulation 1107/2009 at the time of 31st December 2020 remain approved in Great Britain under the new independent GB Plant Protection Product Regulation. In addition, all active substances with an EU approval expiry date before the end of 2023 will have their GB approval extended by three years.
HSE has already published details of the first round of active substances where the approvals have been extended. However new deadlines have also been set for submitting notifications for the intention to support the renewals for these actives, all of which fall within 2021.
