Congratulations to our very own Senior Ecotoxicologist here at Enviresearch, Dr Charles Hazlerigg, who has today been awarded a highly competitive Future Leaders Fellowship from UK Research & Innovation supported by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy. This fellowship secures major investment over the next 4 years for Charles’ research into the use of mechanistic effects models in the environmental risk assessment of Plant Protection Products. We are delighted to be able to support Charles in his efforts to realise the potential of effects models and ultimately improve regulatory decision-making, to the benefit of farmers, the chemical industry, the public and the environment.
