Jose Sobreiro

Jose will provide regulatory services for chemical companies achieve the compliance with EU chemical laws (REACH, Pesticides, Biocides and CLP). He has worked for the Portuguese Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Pesticides and Biocides Registration. His main responsibilities included advising on dossier preparation and registration procedures, performing completeness and compliance checks of pesticides and biocide dossiers submitted by commercial companies, and to develop safety data sheets and advice on classification and labelling. As well as working at a national level, he has also worked at an EU level, and was part of a team responsible for the assessment of two active ingredients to be placed on the positive list for the Biocide Directive.

His role in Enviresearch is to set and advise on regulatory compliance strategies and provide the technical services required for such compliance.
