Pesticide Risk Assessment

Safety for human health and the environment is a central issue in the registration of plant protection products containing pesticides.

Enviresearch Ltd can perform both human health risk assessments and environmental risk assessments. This includes:

• Assessment covering all environmental compartments (i.e. surface water, ground water, soil and air) and relevant organisms (i.e. aquatic and terrestrial organisms, vertebrates, invertebrates and plants);
• Assessments of risks to  operators, workers (re-entry), bystander and any other  persons resulting from the use of pesticides.
• Refined/higher tier assessments including higher tier modelling, inclusion of other factors, or actual data, advice and interpretation of higher tier experiments and  mitigation options.
