Research and Training

Enviresearch continually strives to be at the forefront of science. We maintain this position through involvement with research and through the delivery of training programmes. We believe that our strong research and training position enables us to deliver superior regulatory support services.

We lead and participate in academic projects relating to the safety of chemicals and are members of various scientific advisory groups. We supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students who are involved in courses related to chemical risk assessment.

We offer training to clients in a range of risk assessment disciplines. Courses and seminars can be held at your premises or in-house at Enviresearch, and we tailor the content of each course to you. Our training packages are designed to meet your needs, whether you wish to gain skills, knowledge or simply awareness of the issues.

Training packages that we have delivered include:

·         Derivation of input data for use in models

·         Modelling with the FOCUS tools for ground water and surface water

·         Modelling with EUSES in support of registration of biocides and general chemicals

·         Regulatory procedures and the role of risk assessment
