Scott Hawley, PhD
Environmental Modeller and Risk Assessor
I joined Enviresearch as an environmental fate and risk assessor in October 2016. My primary role is to determine the behaviour of plant protection products in the environment in line with EU and national guidelines. I come from a background in biogeochemistry and have worked on projects ranging from tracing carbon cycling in soils to tracing the fate of iron in rivers.
I have a PhD from Durham University which was completed as part of the EU MetTrans project looking at the fate and behaviour of metals in the environment. I also have a BS in Geology, Chemistry and Marine Science from the Rosentiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami (USA).
